Such a wonderful shot of this beautiful formation Chris; the contrasts here are perfect, and the fine detail in the rock formation is absolutely wonderful....Colorado Springs is only about 40 something miles from the Paint Mines....you should have driven out east a little ways and you would have been able to enjoy them as well.....next time you are in CO, make a point to go to Calhan, east on hwy 24...
