Merrill artistic career started with a few art course and a massive collection of art books on all subjects, after many cross country travel trips and visit to local and national scenic recreation parks director him toward modern contemporary subjects in both urban scape , and landscape composition either in oil, or acrylic medium. Some of my landscape are done in a mix medium of markers and color pencils done in deep brilliant expressive colors. His main goals is for each and ever composition to make a powerful visual statement to the viewer, also he has taken an interest in the abstract art scene prospectus to a slight degree.
