This is a Digital artwork of a Red Wolf (Canis rufus). The Red Wolf is critically endangered and has a current range in Northeastern North Carolina spreading into the tip of southeastern Virginia. They are extremely beautiful mammals and it truly is a shame that man's presence and pressures on the area will most likely lead to this animals extinction.
