This is an image of a purple passion flower. This image was taken in NC. The plants seeds are rumored to have medicinal properties but I cannot verify the rumors. In spite of the rumors they are a beautiful flower. This specific plant was growing out in the wild by a lake. A very lovely place for this exquisite work of nature.
