Description
Don't you agree that the small piece of green moss on its cap makes this fly agaric stand out? And no, I didn't put it there for a better image. It was already there when I found it.
Autumn 2023 was exceptional for mushroom picking and photo-taking. After a dry and warm summer, the mushroom season in southern Germany only really started in November after heavy rain. Within a few day, fungi started to grow everywhere in unbelievable quantities. So I spent quite some time on the forest floor these days.

Eckart, I love it. It is not just a photo, it is art. It's different and you have seen beauty whilst a plain mushroom would just have remained a plain mushroom.
