This was inspired by an actual siting of eagles when the artist visited Washington state, where eagles often sat on the front porch rail and shared the morning sunrise.
"I was shocked at the actual size and strength of these majestic birds" Krimsin stated, "The biggest buzzards in New Mexico look small in comparison to these beauties. Seeing them sitting there, fearless and proud, makes you realize why they are our national bird."
