This bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) was preparing to fly. The Bald eagle is a bird of prey the national bird of the United States. It symbolizes strength and resolve. Obviously the Bald eagle is not bald but has white feathers on its head. They are extremely beautiful raptor birds.
