Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Born in the Heartland, John Wyckoff traveled and resided in Iowa, Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Oregon and Washington before graduating from Washington State Universitys School of Architecture. A keen observer and appreciator of the arts, his serious fine arts studies began at college. There at Washington State, he was befriended by master watercolorist Andrew Hofmeister. Under Mr. Hofmeisters encouragement and care, John learned a very real appreciation for capturing the moment, for painting only from ones own personal experience and the distinction between merely chronicling an object and creatively interpreting, developing and presenting a subject. Through Andrew Hofmeisters nurturing, John found his profession and his art...
