Description
This was a wild mushroom growing about 7 feet up on an oak tree. I am rather certain that it is a member of the Amanita family but i was not able to test it for a positive identification. I do not want to venture a guess to its true identity but being that its white, has gills and a veil, and growing on an oak tree I would venture to say may be poisonous and would not take my chances with it. It is rather cool looking mushroom though.
